Many, many years ago (somewhere around 1983) Jim Hoover and Larry Ruzzo began working on a compendium of problems complete for P. In 1986 Ray Greenlaw joined their effort. Around this time and independently Satoru Miyano, Shuji Shiraishi, and Takayoshi Shoudai began compiling a compendium of problems complete for P. Each group published a book on the subject and had extensive information published on the Web. In 1999 while Ray was visiting Satoru at the Human Genome Institute in Tokyo, they thought it would be a good idea to merge the two works. In addition, they thought it would be a good idea to develop a compendium of problems in the class NC. The NC portion of the work is still under construction and we need you to contribute to make this project successful.
