This page provides additional information about how your project was graded.
One thing all students should keep in mind is that completing the
minimum project criteria will result in a
satisfactory grade of C. Listed
below are some guidelines that are considered to raise or lower your
grade from a C. Keep in mind that a
B reflects good work and an
A means excellent.
Some criteria that will improve your grade:
- the writing and layout of the presentation flow extremely well
- presentation is easy to understand and has a clear theme
- appropriate use of tables, frames, forms, and other advanced HTML code
- code is very well-documented and easy to read
Some criteria that will decrease your grade:
- not all the requirements are included
- inappropriate use of tables, frames, forms, and other
advanced HTML code
- the presentation does not flow together
- presentation includes several errors -- i.e., typing, spelling,
and other grammatical errors (please don't rely solely on the
spell checker)
- hyperlinks are broken
- images are broken
- individual pages are too long and wordy
- text is poorly composed
- code is all compressed together and not pretty printed
- code is not commented
- code mixes several different styles together
