Five (5) part-time paid Information Technology Intern positions with InfoServ On-Site Computer Service
The student would need to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Student Requirements:
Minimum GPA: 2.75 Junior Standing

Job Description:
The student will perform duties and services as assigned by the work supervisor and internship coordinator. Reports and assignments are required to be completed by the students. General tasks include PC maintenance, software/hardware installation and upgrades, Web Page creation/maintenance, and Database creation and maintenance.
- Handles complex problems effectively. Separates key issues and generates multiple solutions.
- Experience informing clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports based on their information needs.
- Excellent people skills. Interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people.
- Committed to exceeding quality standards and providing exceptional products and services.
- Applies knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Software maintenance experience, including handling performance, supportability, code management, documentation, and quality issues.
- Experience in system administration, including system maintenance, workstation support, Internet connectivity, security services, load monitoring, and back-up procedures.
- Practiced documentation skills.
- Basic software performance tuning skills.
- Experience gathering software requirements by interviewing users and analyzing competitive products.
- Students are expected to earn their A+ certification within one month of employment.
