Sharp CS student to take on a part time (20-30hr/week) Sys Admin position with SCAD Network Services. The position will mostly be installing and maintaining UNIX and Linux servers, shell/perl script programming, software updates, new version testing and some special projects involving web/database programming and assisting with audio and video streaming projects. The best candidate would be one who would want to grow into a full time position within the next year. If you are interested, we could potentially do this as an internship. SCAD's Network services group maintains a very large network infrastructure, including around 70 servers, over 60 locations in Savannah, Atlanta, and Europe, a carrier grade voice network with over 3000 phones, and a fiberoptic plant covering the downtown area of Savannah.
