Weyerhaeuser Engineering Services
Summer Internship
The primary goals of this engineering internship are to identify high potential undergraduate engineering students, provide experience with engineering careers at Weyerhaeuser, and hire successful interns upon graduation as qualified entry-level engineers.
Criteria:
- Students must be academically focused on an engineering
program. The following disciplines are preferred:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Process Control
- Civil/Structural
- Construction Management
- Preference is given to students who possess and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better on a 4.00 scale for all course work leading to a bachelor's or master's degree in a recognized engineering discipline.
- The student must be majoring in engineering at an institution accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- The student must have the permanent right to work in the United States.
- Students must be able to work in an office, in a mill environment, or at a construction site (possibly a remote site).
- Geographic preference must not be a constraint.
- Students must possess excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills.
